A Lifetime of Creations
ALEJANDRO CAMPOS
Welcome to my website!
I am a young diligent individual dedicated and passionate about the hospitality industry
I come from a humbling small town known as Calexico or AKA the international gateway city.
Calexico is located in the south east border of California neighboring the capital of Baja California (Mexicali).
Throughout my years here at San Diego State University I have collected a series of self development plans and activities in my classes. Furthermore, I have acquire experiences that opened my eyes to the world and made me see the infinite possibilities of my journey. This portfolio is designed to set and record the pathway I will be creating to reach my goals. Aside from hospitality I have grown an interest in brewing beer and want to learn more about it as an amateur homebrewer and young desire to create something I am hoping to develop a recipe of my own that will eventually be served in many bars and restaurants throughout the city.

The purpose of the HSMAI Chinese Auction is to raise funds for the hospitality program at SDSU in this event I learned that it is important to keep a good network with classmates as well as with professionals, every time I attend an event like this I get to know myself better as a person I am a person that creates context, but most importantly listens. I keep my ears more open than my mouth. Like the good old saying: "Have more than you show, speak less than you know."
Mind Map: Growing your Branches

The mindmap activity has helped me recognized how the connections I have can help me in the future towards my goals, it has also helped me identify an important execution strategy of persistance and preserverance.
My Brewing
I have developed an interest in craft beer. I recently got the opportunity to start my first home brew and I am very excited about it a really enjoyed the process and I will be learning as I go.

Development Activity
This is my development activity which hits many of the HTM competencies such as networking, self development, and many more this is a timeline of when things should get done for spring semester of 2018. This activity has helped me organize myself in a timeline manner which is helpful to keep myself on check for execution.

This is a picture of our second project in 301 with Dillette. the group project was to organize and coordinate an event in less than 20 minute where there would be investors and pitchers proposing their ideas to a panel of experts.
